The father of this child(Iqbal) didn't live up to see the birth, and the mother( Jinnah), died just after that. We got engaged in the debate of what is Pakistan? Who is Pakistan for? And even why is Pakistan? The vision of Iqbal of a free country where Muslims could live happily and in peace is the converse of what we see today.
